My first blogger post


Hello,this is Ann and its my first post on here so am going to start talking about things i like for example K pop

 If u guys haven't heard about K pop before here's a few things about K pop:
K-pop (an abbreviation of Korean Pop)is a musical genre originating in South Korea that is characterized by a wide variety of audiovisual elements. Although it comprises all genres of "popular music" within South Korea, the term is more often used in a narrower sense to describe a modern form of South Korean pop music covering: dance-pop, pop ballad, electronic, rock, metal,[2] hip-hop music and R&B.[3]


Okay,now we have spoken about what K pop is so i want to recommend some girl/boy groups that i always listen to hopefully u enjoy them and their music :


1-Girls Generation (Snsd):
is a South Korean girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment. The group is composed of eight members: Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun. Girls' Generation officially debuted on August 5, 2007 with its debut single "Into the New World".


2-BigBang:is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment. Consisting of members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri, the group officially debuted on August 19, 2006. Predominantly a hip hop group, Big Bang found success with their breakthrough hit “Lies,” which stayed at number one on major Korean music charts for a record-breaking seven consecutive weeks,[4] and winning the group the Song of the Year award at the 2007 Mnet Korean Music Festival.[5]


3-Super Junior:

is a South Korean boy band. Formed in 2005 by producer Lee Soo-man of S.M. Entertainment, the group comprised a total of thirteen members at its peak. Super Junior originally debuted with twelve members, consisting of leader Leeteuk, Heechul, Hankyung, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kibum. Kyuhyun joined the group in 2006.


4-Shinee:
 is a South Korean contemporary boy group formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2008.[1][2] The group consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin. They made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS's Inkigayo with their single, "Replay.
  


5-EXO:
 is a Chinese-South Korean boy band based in Seoul. Formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2011, the group consists of twelve members separated into two subgroups, EXO-K and EXO-M, performing music in Korean and Mandarin, respectively. EXO rose to fame with the release of their best-selling first album XOXO (2013), which contained the breakthrough hit "Growl". XOXO was a critical and commercial success, winning both Disk Daesang at the 28th Golden Disk Awards and Album of the Year at the 15th Mnet Asian Music Awards. It eventually went to sell over one million copies, putting EXO as the fastest-selling Korean artist in twelve years.[1] Their third EP Overdose (2014) made EXO the highest-charting Korean male act on the Billboard 200.[2]


6-2NE1:

is a four-member South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2009 and is now one of the most famous girl groups in the country. The band consists of CL, Minzy, Dara, and Park Bom.

  7-BEAST/B2ST: is a six-member boy band from South Korea, formed in 2009 by Cube Entertainment. The band's members are Yoon Doo-joon, Jang Hyun-seung, Yong Jun-hyung, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon.


8-2PM:
 is a South Korean idol group managed by JYP Entertainment. The current members are Jun. K (formerly known as Junsu), Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung. Former leader Jay Park officially left the group in early 2010.


9-Girls Day:
  is a four-member South Korean girl group under the management of Dream Tea Entertainment, a subsidiary of KOSDAQ-listed agency Wellmade Star M. The group consists of four girls who perform under the stage names of Sojin, Minah, Yura and Hyeri. Their biggest hits include "Something", "Darling", "Twinkle Twinkle", "Expectation" and "Female President".


10-AOA:
  (an acronym for Ace of Angels) is a South Korean idol girl group signed under FNC Entertainment. The eight-member band consists of Choa, Jimin, Yuna, Youkyung, Chanmi, Hyejeong, Seolhyun, and Mina,Youkyoung is a half angel, and only appeared in the band part of the group as the drummer.


11-Sistar:
is a South Korean girl group formed in 2010 under the management of Starship Entertainment. The group consists of Hyolyn, Bora, Soyou and Dasom.


12-Red Velvet:

is a South Korean girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2014. They made their debut with the digital single "Happiness", which was released August 4, 2014. Originally debuting with four members, the group is currently composed of five members: Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri.


13-Apink:
is a South Korean girl group formed by A Cube Entertainment in 2011. The group consists of Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Eun-ji, Son Na-eun, Kim Nam-joo and Oh Ha-young. Hong Yoo-kyung left the group in April 2013 to focus on her studies.



14-F(X):
  is a five-member multi-national K-pop girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2009. The group consists of Victoria, Amber, Luna, Sulli, and Krystal. They are renowned for their experimental fashion and their electric, electropop sound.Each member has also participated in other forms of entertainment, such as acting and television hosting.


15-After School: 
is a South Korean girl group formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2009,with an admissions and graduation concept.The band currently consists of seven members: Jungah, Uee, Raina, Nana, Lizzy, E-Young and Kaeun. After School officially debuted in January 2009. Later that year they released "Because of You", which was ranked number 1 on multiple music charts.
